"I have bought these previously as baby shower gifts. The book itself is beautiful with pretty gold foil details, is the perfect size and a nice way to jot down those sweet moments to remember years from now. I recently ordered two of these, one as a gift and finally one for myself and, sadly, they both arrived with defects. One had a tiny puncture on the back cover while the other had grey scuff marks all over the front cover. What a bummer!"

- I just love this memory book. I started using it when my son turned 7 months old and just wish I had it sooner. I love that it's just a few lines because it takes the pressure off and I can quickly jot down a few thoughts/memories/milestones from the day. It isn't daunting like a journal/diary and makes it easy to write in daily. This is a great gift too, I've purchased this for several friends that are moms-to-be. I will treasure this for years to come!
- I’ve had this diary for about a month and am enjoying updating it each night. I hope I can keep it going for five years straight! Only issue is that the provide lines are very closely spaced; I have tiny handwriting, so it doesn’t bother me, but it will likely feel too cramped for many writers.
- I have bought these previously as baby shower gifts. What a bummer!
- Whether you buy this for yourself or as a gift for a new mom, highly recommend. Would make a wonderful shower gift so mom has it ahead of time and when baby is born. I bought it for myself after the baby was born, and wish I’d had it ahead of time in the hospital. It’s hard to keep up with a baby book or journaling with a newborn, but there are so many memories you want to capture, especially firsts. This book is a manageable way to capture those little moments day by day.
- I am not a person who can consistently write in a journal. I never have been. Even I can write in this. I keep it by my chair and every night before heading up to bed, I can manage to write a few lines about the day. It has already been useful - I have used it to check back about days my daughter had a fever, the first day she went to a particular lesson, when her grandma visited. There are no quotes from others to get in the way of your own thoughts. There is not a lot of room to record detailed memories and no space for pictures which is great for me, because it really takes the pressure off. This is the journal for people who have failed at scrap booking or who want to remember snippets of time without the pressure of writing a full scale memoir about every day.
- I bought this for my daughter on her 1st Mother’s Day. She wrote me a note saying “Thank you so much. I’ve been looking for a journal and this is perfect. It allows be to record a quick thought for the day then I have multiple years all on the same page I can compare as I go.†As a working mom many times the balancing act is hard but you want to record life events. Yet it’s so hard to document full pages. This is just the right thing to share a main thought that documents your day for future then compares that date for the next year or in 4 years to come.
- Love this journal. I just finished five years of writing in my first journal and I'm starting my second. It has documented the early years of my children's lives. If there was a fire at my home, it is the one item is be upset to lose. I have written so many sweet memories in it. It is so unintimidating to write in because each day only has a small space, rather than a big blank page. I write down all sorts of memories that I never would have otherwise documented in their baby books. Sometimes I quickly jot down funny things my kids say over a week and then add them to the journal all at once when I have time. Love it.
- Because I love my One Line a Day book, I purchased this one for a dear friend as she was welcoming her first little girl into this world. I gave it to her as a gift so she could keep all the little (and BIG) memories in one place. I thought it would be cute and thoughtful. My only concern was that she already had one...and she did not. This was a huge win because she told me that she wanted one but never got around to getting it with so much going on around her. I am super glad she loved this as much as I did and I adore that she and the little one can look back five years from now and read all the memories together. Very aweseome!
I think that anyone could get this little gem and make it worth while. It's never too late to capture the memories of life. Even if your little ones are older in age, grab one of these and start today. You will not regret it one bit!
