• My third child is learning to read and is starting to enjoy shorter chapter books read aloud. My husband and I are enjoying reading these aloud. The British humor is wonderful and we are very happy to read these. I hope they find a wide audience in the US. Currently my older children are pretending to read their books while my husband laughs-guffaws through this.
  I'm a librarian in a specialized field but I dabble a bit with children's books to help our charter school. These appear to be reissued from their British publication with new cover art and illustrations. Very funny and very appealing. These will likely appeal to a broader range of ages than bland American readers. I highly recommend. I will buy these for our school library as well.
